wow i never i thought i'd get so much support... how 'bout i just send 2 sizes of iron on transfers(for front of shirts, hats, & back of shirts) & keep it cheap for everyone?? once i get the disc back you can just do your own. once again- this is not for profit.(brainfart) or actually you can do it now- just save the logo to docs & print in iron on transfer paper- bam... it's a gift & thanx for the support. ya can get 3 hane's tee's @ wally mart for $5.00- done.

p.s. since this is a not for profit but is advertising & i just brainfarted howto make it free(or @ least) cheap.. let's honor roll it & donate $5.00 to smf just click on the smf donation link if ya would..saves time for you, work for me, & helps the site that makes this all possible.....

nice gypsy, and if you get the restaurant going, I'd recommend a website, and always include it on everything. Menus, tees, cards, anything you send out. It helps.

ty- same here. i keep so many irons in the fire.... we all know rests are 90% failure rate.. i've done 3 that are sill in business 20 yrs later but lacking... i want to do my catering, festivals, food critic thing...but i think traffic flow is a guarantee... w/ the ambience, food, & living here in a dry county- the liquor vote is coming up & most bb places are generic & only open thurs-sat 5-9... how do you staff & turn a profit w/ a total open business hours of 16 hrs..... blows my mind... but i digress....

Hey Gypsy, nice logo and great ideas... Anything I can do to help, just yell!

Gypsy, great looking logo. I'm guessing that since you're asking for feedback, you want some. I'm in the marketing side of things and know a bit about logo's. Here's just a thought...if you're going to reproduce this logo on shirts, etc, you'll need spacing between those letters so that it comes through in smaller fonts. Also, if you can, exagerate the spatula and 2-pronger. They'll show nicely on your winning team's shirt. Look forward to seeing pictures of the trophies.

I've been thinking about this since yesterday and a thought hit me this morning. I like the logo but would also throw another thought out there. Maybe put the city and state of the location (I'm thinking in small print just under the logo). My reasoning is when people see the shirt they would then know the general location. I plan on making a shirt for me to wear but without a city/state..........I also agree w/ bbqpitstop about the website. I'm just a small fry here but as a consumer I really appreciate a resturant with a website.

Crawdaddy, you're right on. If you plan on selling your shirts, a locator not only tells people where you are, it tells them where they've been. They're more likely to buy a shirt with a city/state than without one 'cause it triggers a memory. I've been down that road and learned the hard way (cases of unsold shirts!). Good luck.

For the female t-shirt wearers - "I got my butt rubbed by Gypsy"

For the male t-shirt wearers - "I spent a night out looking for porkers with Gypsy and BigArm"

Gypsy

I had some catchy tee shirts made for my bussiness a few years back

Pink for female "I Got My Shorts Removed By Buzz Electric"
Black for guys " I Got Lit With Buzz Electric"
Both had "HOT N WIRED" on them
Some of these shirts are still hangen on some bar walls at Lake of the Ozarks

Thing really took of till i had to move back to IOWA.
