I just volunteered for Operation BBQ Relief.  I was wondering who all here at SMF was involved with the organization. From what I have read and seen through the media they do a lot of good things for people in disasters struck areas.  I feel fortunate to be able to help. If you like bbq and like helping people, y'all should sign up.

Hey guys, I'm Jeff Stith, one of the co-founders and executive directors of OBR.  Thanks for your comments!  Because of the nature of the situations in which we work, it never seems appropriate to tell folks we look forward to working with them - it would means someone is suffering a loss of property and/or loved ones.  But you know what we mean...  Thank you for volunteering and please let me know if you have any questions about OBR and what we do.
