Old Kamando

I have a Kamando from about 1998 that is no longer being made. They were before BGE and all the others. I would like to put a Pittmaster IC 110 in it but they are made for the newer models that have a sliding draft door . My door is 4"x4" and slides in and out on 3/8" metal rods. Does anybody out there have one like mine? Can anybody give me an idea of how to do a mod. to attach the Pittmaster.
