Well today i got a new smoker took back the bradley and got this huge 44" dual burner gas with a window at sams today on sale for 279 its a smoke hollow its so damn heavy lol i think i might do some mods like use some fire proof inslu on outside but on low it went to 300 and stayed there not a prob at 68 out here in indiana yes this thread is random sorry i do that

ok so smoked some chicken and it took about 3 hours the temp outside dropped below 50 and still had no issue with keeping the smoker above 225 with one burner though i will rope seal the door and window to help with the smoke it leaked a little but not bad

I have a Bradley also and can't get the heat up.  Getting frustrated.  I wonder if Cabelas will take it back. The propne smokers look like the ticket.

Smoking is not a quick cook..I bought a $400.00 smoker at Lowes once for 100 bucks because a guy brought it back because it took to long to cook in it....Good Luck with yours...

X2. And besides, like any smoker, there are small mods you can do to make it work the way you want it too. Do some research and you'll see for yourself.

I wouldn't give up my Bradley for anything.
