I am looking for something I would have thought simple but obviously not. Oven door lubricant.

After years of misting my bread, heck or just having moistures escape from foods, my oven door squeaks, no actually now it screams. Being a fairly self sufficient country boy I figure I can grease or oil the hinges. Then the wisdom of my years kicks in, (this a newly acquired trait which is still sometimes forgotten!). Grease and oil have normally relatively low flash points, and smell.

I am a man of the 21st Century, I google and search Amazon. I have got to believe that its a common occurrence in the cooking industry and I know they wouldn't pay the prices this extra high temp lubricants cost!

I bet any appliance repairman has a 2.00 tube of something in their bag to lub the hinges. Does anyone know what that might be?

I have the WD40 (sitting next to the baling wire and duct tape) I have graphite lubs and even coconut lubs. All of which have a reason not to use if you'll stop and think of it.

Anyone want to save me a 100.00 repairman call out? IT where I can barely stand it and more.....Pleaseeeeeee have mercy and help me. When I open the door, it makes my hair stand on end!

old school Crisco or some lard will suffice IMHO

My oven door sounded like I ran over the cats tail with my mower. Seriously, the cat would beet feet when I opened the oven. I used fluid film. Its all natural, and the cat love's me again. Several cleanings and not one squeak.
