Cut down a post oak tree that died in my yard last fall. It is cut into about 15"-18" long logs and is around 15" diameter. Welcome to pick them up, just cost gas to get here and back. They will likely need to season another 9 - 12 months. I live in Hollister, MO, about an hour south of springfield. Will keep two or three weeks and then most likely head into the burn pile. I would split and use myself, but already have one full rack of oak and am getting an apple tree here in the next month.

Too bad I’m so far away!

I will be passing through that area first or second week of December and could stop by and pick up some. But I don't need all of it. I could trade you some wild cherry wood. The Cherry wood is anywhere from 6-9" diameter and cut 16-24" lengths.

@indaswamp No need to trade. I have plenty and a source for more than I would ever need. I will save it for you, just take what you want. I may just split it too since saving it and have to split the apple anyway. Send me a dm and i can send you my contact info.
