Newby to ALL

Hi I from Kansas. I just purchased a Green Mountain Grill. My first Grill and/or Smoker ( only took nearly 30 years for that) Looking for tips and suggestions that you with experience can provide. I'm not looking to win any cook offs. I just like the smell and taste of good smoked food and so does my family.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.
