Hi all, I’m just starting out with a smoker style cooker. Recently purchased a Primo to replace the rusted Weber gas grill. Tried sever instances of chicken breasts with mixed results, one pork tenderloin that was great and one not so great, and a pork butt, also not so great.
But, I’m enjoying the journey. Very much like Dutch oven cooking In that there’s several variables going on at the same time, and you just have to spend time learning to read the signs of things.

Welcome from Minnesota. What rig are you smoking on? I am sure a few people have what you do and can help get great results!

Welcome. I did not recognize the name Primo so I looked it up. Looks like a great ceramic smoker similar to an Egg. What was wrong with the cooks that didn't go so well? I'm sure the folks her can offer some good tips.
