My name is Dale and I'm from Northern MN and love anything smoked!  I have been playing with smoking off and on for the past couple years but havent got real serious about it until this summer.  I found this site while looking for tips on how to smoke a whole turkey and got all the information I needed from all of the forums.  I actually have a turkey on the smoker right now and can't wait to see how the Slaughterhouse Brine tastes! Looking forward to getting more involved on this site and being a newbie anymore :)

It's turkey, I guess I should have mentioned that, but I still have it out on the smoker.  Soaked it in a brine using the "slaughterhouse recipe", it's my first time so I hope it turns out!
