Newbie to smoking and the forum

Greetings and salutations from Fallon NV!
I am a soon to be Navy vet of 9yrs 10mo. I was stationed at NAS Whidbey Island WA. I am on terminal leave and with the move I bought a new grill and a Brinkmann electric smoker. I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to smoking. I was recently in VA for work and went to Smokey Bones for dinner and had their smoked wings..AMAZING!!! So tonight for the first meat in the smoker I chose to try and smoke wings. I did a google search for smoked wings and it led me to here.
