I'm new to smoking scene. Master Griller now ready to smoke. Any help.. Tips.. Ideas... Would be gratefully appreciative.

I'm in Texas..
Director of Technology for a school district.
Cooking is my second passion.
I can work hard all day... Come home a cook a full course meal... Love it.
Love grilling. Everyone here loves for me to grill. I want to step it up...
I bought Smokey Hollow 4-in1 Grill/Smoker.. Just finished all the mods....
1. Lowered the stack.
2. Fixed the firebox Chamber coal/wood basket with expanded metal and fire bricks..
3. Made a custom baffle to redirect the heat across the cooking/charcoal grilling chamber.
4. Sealed all nooks and crannys of the firebox & charcoal /grilling Chamber.
5. Sealed the stack area.
6. Put Gaskets around perimeter of fire box & charcoal/grilling chambers.
7. Put Gasket on side firebox entry door.
8. Painted the outside of of all chambers and lids.. High temp paint.
9. Have the heavy cover from smokey hollow.

I hope I am ready.. Lol!

Thanks!
