Newbie smoker

Hello everyone:

I've been looking into smoking meat for a long time now and researching smokers like crazy. I'm a Doc student so Money is a bit tight and I was looking at the MES 30 or the Bradley as my first smoker when I came across a Traeger Lil Tex Elite that is about 2 years old for $175 on craigslist. The seller was a helluva nice guy and had several other smokers. He just wanted to get it out of his garage and I was happy to oblige. 

The smoker needs some elbow grease (previous owner was up front about this) but is otherwise in perfect condition and inclues the thermostatic control unit. I'm excited to get started and I believe I'll start with some pulled pork this weekend.
