Hey guys, looking to start smoking some stuff now the weather is nice. I've never smoked anything before and I'm looking to get a bbq-smoker combo as my space is limited. I'm on a budget and looking for a good one under 140. I came across this on Amazon, can you guys give me your opinion if this is worth it or advice on a better one for a beginner?

My wife bought me one of those. Used it once! I then gave it away...

Do yourself a favor and get a weber 22.5 kettle! You can probably get one off of Craigslist in great shape for $50.

You can get a Weber Kettle for like 130 bucks without all this fancy stuff. I would not bother with that smoker you gave the link to. You will just have to get something better anyway. Weber Kettles smoke food real good and they are top notch grills too. Last you a lifetime.

Good advice  That thing is Thin and you will be frustrated every time you use it. Now if that's what you have or really want Just take time to figure it out you can cook and smoke on most anything I have a $69.00 ECB I still use every once in a while.

Weber. Got it. Awesome info guys, I'll stick to that brand and narrow down my choice much faster. Greatly appreciate the info everyone. Glad I didn't quickly buy that one haha.

Just make sure you don't go smaller than the 22 inch one. If you do you will regret it in the future. Check your local craigslist. You might find something really good in your price range. You can't go wrong with anything Weber makes.

Hate to say it but that smoker sucks!! I have one. Pain in the rear even with all the mods I did on it. I only use it if I have a whole day to waste messing with it.
