Newbie in CT

Hey All,

Wanted to pop in and introduce myself. Hopefully I'll be around a while. I just bought my first smoker - Char-Broil Offset, and want to start smoking some meat. I've never done it before, but got (what I consider) a good deal - $70, so decided now is the time to start. I've read a few books and watched some videos, and am ready to start experimenting. Who knows, maybe by Thanksgiving my family will trust me enough to do a turkey in the smoker...
