Newbie from upstate NY

Hi - I'm Aaron.  I'm from upstate NY.  I'm pretty new to smoking, but I like to cook all kinds of things outdoors.  I started playing with smoking this past summer with a cheap used offset smoker.  It had plenty of issues, but I enjoyed the result.  My folks got me a Masterbuilt 30" (gen 2 I think) for Christmas.  I'm trying to get used to it.  I've smoked a chicken, pot roast and pork butt to get started.  Last week I smoked a meatloaf, and today I'm trying a whole turkey.

I hope to learn some things, and share anything I can figure out.
