Hello all, I guess I jumped the gun a little. I posted already in the reverse flow forum my ongoing build. Anyway I'm from Texas work retail and weld as a hobby in my garage. I learned stick from my dad when I was younger and recently bought a hobart wire welder. It's only a 140 but so far has done me good. I have only built a few things for my welding resume which included a 5x10 trailer, a hitch for my wrangler and a backyard offset smoker. Have also built a few wine bottle trees for my family and a few firewood racks. Anyway that's about it for now, hopefully will post quite a bit now that I've joined.

to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us!

We love to see pictures of what you are cooking (or what we call q-views here at SMF).  To "upload the q-views" just follow the directions here and it will be easier. If you are using a cell phone, an IPad or a kindle, go to the main SMF page and click the Mobile button. Will make the uploads a bit faster too.

If you didn't read the "SMF User Guidlines" .....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums and some guidelines of how to interact within the forums. Off site links are not allowed here at SMF per TulsaJeff. Not that you have done anything wrong....just a little bit of FYI for new members!

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!

Kat

Thanks Kat, user guidelines were pretty much what I expected just from reading up on a few other builds so y'all won't have any problems out of this guy!

Hello and welcome from East Texas. This is a great site, lots of information and great people that are willing to throw in their two cents worth on about anything   ...........

Good to have a fellow Tylerite on board (actually I live in Whitehouse)

Gary
Whitehouse, gross! Lol just kidding! I'm glad I found this site I've already "stolen" several ideas I plan on using on my reverse flow build

There are many good ideas on this site. I see something I like I'll save it so we can use it later. I also ask a lot of questions to find out exactly how it turned out and if it is working like expected. We have two tanks on the ground waiting to become RF Smokers and cooler weather.
