What up Guys,

New to smoking and to this forum.  I have owned a Brinkman Smoke & Grill in the past and recently just got a GOSM 2 drawer and im really excited to use it.  I plan to get a digital thermometer and start experimenting with different recipies & eats.  I have only done baby  back ribs in the past.  Love the info on this forum & look forward to contributing!

Welcome  to the SMF, and congrats on the new GOSM. Getting a good therm is the best way to start, the built-in therms are not always reliable. I ended up putting three into the door of my big block. Rack temp, and internal temps will guide you through a smoke. BTW, I use lump and chunks in my GOSM, less loading time than when using chips. It's all good my friend.

Welcome to SMF glad you joined us. Congrats on the GOSM they are great smokers. You'll find lots of info and some great recipes here. Have fun and happy smoking
