I have a 30" MES that my wife got me for fathers day last summer. I have done Ribs twice, a couple of briskets and next weekend I plan to do a couple of pork butts. The ribs I did 3-2-1 and turned out pretty good. The first brisket was really good but the second not bad but not as good as the first. I'm on-call for my job a lot and don't get to cook as often as I would like but that's life. I have turned to the forum several times for ideas and thought why not join, so here I am.

Hi Jeff...welcome aboard from another Oklahoman!  This is a great site for sharing ideas on all things smoked, grilled, cured, etc.  Lots of good people here who enjoy helping each other.  There are many members who own and use an MES, so there's plenty of help and advice when you need it.

Happy smoking!
