I just found this forum a couple of days ago. I have been looking at electric smokers for some time but just didn't know if I wanted to spend 3-400 on the ones I liked.
Two days ago spotted a Masterbuilt 40 Gen 2.5 on Craigslist for under $100. It was around 100 miles away but the guy agreed to hold it for me. Went and picked it up this afternoon. Gonna wipe it down a little and fire it up Saturday with a couple whole chickens and turkey breasts. Looking forward to learning a lot on this forum
