Hi everyone. I grew up in the country with my grandfather and other family members having the self made 50 gallon drum smokers that cooked fresh beef, pork and chicken raised right on my grandfathers farm. Those days are long gone but I've always missed that great smoked meat flavor! Just purchased a Masterbuilt electric smoker. Figured it would be much easier for city life and a working mom. Can't wait to get started!!! This site has so many great recommendations. I'll be sure to post my first attempts. I have a freezer full of bulk meats just waiting to be tried out! Lol
