I stumbled across this website while searching designs for my first smoker build. Awesome sight and I have learned a lot here just browsing. I'm a heavy equipment mechanic and do a little welding and fab work for myself. I'm currently building my first offset smoker. Ill post about it in the offset smoker build section.
