Newbie Equipment Question

Hello,

Bought a used smoker yesterday, an old Smoky Mountain Great Outdoors smoker. I am noticing that when I light it up, there are two flames—one from the burner, and another near the front of the line coming into the smoking chamber. I’m guessing this is some kind of leak, correct? Any idea on whether this is fixable, pictures attached.

I’m completely new to this—trying to up my game from burgers and brats/hot dogs.

I think there is a waiting period before pictures will post . I would say that it sounds like a leak .
I wouldn't use it until you get it figured out . You can get the info you need here , but we need to see the pictures .
