newb fro Idaho

Howdy Names is Gary .. another newb checking in from N. Idaho .. got several friends already here and they have recommended this site for some info.

got a Masterbuilt electric model and am learning to use it, so far not much luck as I've tried without doing any homework. well now that your laughing .. so here I am :)

ruined so far .. pork butt, turkey breast, and pork chops ... so now asking from my friends have found out that ya don't need wood smoke the whole time [over powering mild meats]  and a few other things LOL so on with the process of trial and error only now I'll do a it more reading up and if I'm lucky remembering what I read :) ..  CRS at advanced staged as my friend Dave and Pat will attest to  LOL

Take lot's of notes during a smoke so you know what you did right and wrong the next time so you can make corrections, it really helps! I'm like you and can't remember from one day to the next!
