Perfect day for ribs. You can sleep till noon. Fire up the smoker & get the ribs on by 1:00, eat at 7:00.
Drink beer & watch football while you tend to the smoker.
Now that sounds like my kind of eating.I've started a mini tradition - grill a ribeye about 2300 NYE and eat it with black eye peas, collards and a nice single malt (this year its Tompkin 25 years old)
Then for New Years, it's a pork shoulder on the WSM with more peas, collards and baked beans.
