Hi all,

My wife and I just picked up an electric smoker.  We have zero idea what we are doing! I am very much looking forward to learning some tips and gaining ideas from browsing around here.  I have had the smoker a week, and so far have done a pork butt, ribs, and some brats - everything turned out great.   A whole turkey is the next subject, and a google search of ideas brought me to this forum.

Welcome! I also live in MN (Eagan) and now that the weather is starting to warm up i find myself busting out the smoker every weekend for get together and during the week for things here and there. This site is a pit of great information and recipes.

Welcome to the board! Use the Search here to look up your smoker and see how people use them. I'm burning sticks in an offset, will be smoking a pork loin over maple today.
