Hello everyone! Im new to this forum and the world of meat smoking. I built an Ugly Drum Smoker a few weeks ago and it has been a learning process. I have already posted a question about maintaining air flow for the charcoal on the forum so if you know what you're doing (im assuming most of you do :) please drop me a line and help me out. Im looking forward to learning a TON browsing this forum.

Hi, Bill. Welcome to the Group. Best advice I could give is to get a bag of fuel of choice and play with for a day. You know , get yer Buddies over withsome Drinks and B/S. the day away while you learn your Smoker. If the friends ask you what's up? Tell you're just wasting time and steering clear of the other half.

Then when they come over for a BBQ, you can show off...and eat better "Q" than you can get at a Restaurant. Just wait till you have Ribs right off the Smoker(they're better than Fire Grilled

Have fun and...
