Hello, my name is Tim I am from Claypool, In. I have been grilling for about 20 years started when I was 14. I got a Weber Genesis propane grill in 1997, which I still have. Since then I have moved from the propane to charcoal and started out with a Jr. Weber, which I still have, then to a kettle Webber, which I still have. and know have a Traeger 075 smoker that I have had for 2 years. Everything that comes out of that smoker is awesome. I smoke shoulders, ribs, briskets, chicken, turkey, and whatever else I can think of. I am planning to dig a pit and do a whole hog. I have joined to find out what the rest of the smoking world is up to. And I hope I will be able to help out when I can. Thanks,  Tim

Hi Tim, welcome! I think you'll love all of the info and talk on this forum. I'm doing a whole hog over Labor Day as well. We've rented a smoker for the occasion. Good luck with the pit, post some pics!
