Well, after lurking around the site for quite some time I finally decided to join. My name is Nick and I live in Huntsville, AL.
I started smoking about 2 years ago after catching the bug from a co-worker (who coincidentally pointed me to the forums). I bought two Brinkman Gourmets from him since he uses a stainless UDS. Well, they finally rusted out so I am almost finished with my first UDS build. I typically smoke turkey (a lot for family members) and occasionally I'll get a shoulder, fatty, ribs, tenderloin, or some other goodie on the rack.
I haven't attempted brisket yet, but it's on the list. I started bringing smoked sausage biscuits to work and they've been a big hit thus far. Love the forum!
