Hey all. My name is Rick and I live here in the great state of Indiana and I've just received my first electric smoker! I've had a charcoal one for a few years, wasn't really a fan of it. I love my charbroil 30" cabinet smoker! I've made jerkey, hunters sticks, venison chops and tenderloins, ribs, chicken etc. I haven't done a brisket yet (one of the things I'd like to do soon) and as I'm typing this I've got baby back ribs rubbed down and smoking with apple and hicory....can't wait to get new ideas from y'all!

Good morning from Reno, Nevada! Where in Indiana are you? I'm originally from Michigan City on the great and windy Lake Michigan.

I'm in the South Bend, North Liberty area. Thanks for all the warm welcomes! I'm so looking forward to getting the smoker smokin' again soonext for some more delicious meals! I'll be sure to post results soon!. P.S. the baby back ribs smoked with hickory and apple for 4 hours were mouth watering fall off the bone amazing!
