New to the forum and new to smoking

Morning! Glad to be here and to have found this forum. New to smoking but extremely excited to get started. Love smoked brisket too much and no one in Charlotte, NC can seem to cook it right so i figured id perfect it myself. Hope to get smoking before the Hornets season gets started.

Picked up a MES 30' smart smoker from Walmart last night for $100 in a flash sale and will be purchasing a AMPS soon! Any words of advice are greatly appreciated and thank you for having me.
