Excited to get started. Received my first smoker. A charcoal vertical type. Can't wait to mod and hone some new skills. Need to be Texas proud. Been grilling for years on propane and charcoal. Found my passion with charcoal.
Congrats! I've just attempted my first smoke with baby back ribs and the flavor was amazing, but they were far too tough. Not sure where I went wrong, I smoked them for one hour, turned off the smoker burner and left them at 225 for another 2.5 hours? Not long enough maybe? Any suggestions would be beneficial.
