New to smoking, got the 'Fever' (not covid) lol

Hello,
I'm Trevor and I'm from Michigan. I borrowed a Lil chief from my uncle and made some venison summer sausage as well as some jerky. It all came out great, so I have a new hobby. I'm beginning work on my first custom built smoker from cedar. I have been doing a lot of lurking here, so I think I can tackle the job. Thanks to those who share the knowledge here. I look forward to picking your brains more.
