new to smoking a new to forum

I have an E C B electric smoker. I live in Southern Michigan. I have just started smoking. I have no mods to my ECB smoker. Some trial and error with an old smoker.looking to do jerky and at some point Hunters Sausage sticks. Always open to recipes.i want to do more meats.especially brisket and ribs but i don't want to waste meat until i have the basics down. Please have patients with mebut am cooking savvy.thanks all and glad to be a part of the forum. Scott
