New to SMF but not new to smoking!

Hello everyone!

My name is Kit and we live on Whidbey Island in the beautiful Pacific Northwest!

I have a propane Masterbuilt Pro smoker that I love/hate, but as long as I have
patience and a willingness to "babysit" it, everything that goes in, comes out magical.

Smoking became a passion from my dad, who passed away in 2001, but I continue on with everything he had taught me.

I am ever learning. Most of the new techniques I've learned here as I've been a quiet lurker for years.

I am very active outdoors. I bought a 1976 Starcraft 17' and I fish with one of my best girlfriends while the husband golfs. Ha ha!

We do however enjoy digging for geoducks and clams. We're oyster connoisseurs, I love to target shoot, shoot archery, hunt, kayak, hike and scubadive. Of course we smoke, but I'm the seafood smoker and he prefers to do land meat. Which is also relative to our marriage-- he prefers to stay on land and I'm a water baby.
