Gilbert Az
Hello all.  I am Jason from the Gilbert area (suburb of Phoenix) in Az.  I found a nearly new Brinkman square vertical smoker that a neighbor used once then threw out about 5 months ago.  I have been wanting to get a smoker for years but never got around to it.  After smoking something for more weekends than not for the past 5 months, I decided to upgrade.  I did a bunch of research and decided on one of the egg style ceramic grill/smokers.

I welcomed a new member to my family two weeks ago when a bought my Kamado Joe.

Where else can I smoke two 7lb pork shoulders for 12 hours on only 2lbs of lump and never have to mess with the temperature.  Freaking amazing after the Brinkman.  Don't get me wrong, I learned a lot with my Brinkman and I modified the heck out of it to make it work better but Joe really knows what consistency is.
