I have, and love using, my wonderful Masterbuilt electric smoker. However, I felt sorry for my trustworthy old Brinkman sitting all sad in the corner. I quit using the old Brinkman because I found it impossible to maintain a nice, continuous temperature. Well, I think I fixed that!!! I installed a temperature gauge in the lid, and replaced the old non adjustable element with an upgrade. The base required a little bit of cutting for the new element to fit...but what a difference!! Today I loaded a bacon wrapped pork loin on the oldie and that beautiful adjustable element allowed me to keet a constant 275 the entire cook!!! Welcome back old girl!! When I don't have a big cook, I'll be sure to plug you in.
