Hi everyone. I'm from Houston, TX and I love BBQ. Let me repeat that. I LOVE BBQ! I really enjoy making it as much as I love eating it. While I am not a novice at cooking (chef and professional cook for 13 years) I still consider myself to be at an intermediate level when it comes to making BBQ. I am always looking to tinker and improve my techniques. Even though I am from Texas and consider Texas BBQ the best, I do appreciate and thoroughly enjoy Kansas City, Memphis and Carolina BBQ. I currently am using a Masterbuilt 30" electric smoker with the slow smoking attachment. I also own an Outdoor Gourmet double grill. My smoker is a recent addition as it was my Christmas gift. The grill is where I smoked my first brisket. I look forward to learning more and refining my methods. Gracias a todos!
