Hey everyone,
Im David - I've always loved propane and charcoal grilling, and I'm just now getting into the smoking game. A few months ago I tried my first shoulder on the charcoal grill with indirect heat, and it turned out awesome to my surprise. Ribs, however, have never turned out well for me on the charcoal grill. Had so much fun with the shoulder it had me on the Internet...
So last weekend I went out and bought one I had read good reviews about. It's the Masterbuilt 2-door propane smoker. Last weekend I Smoked a few slabs and some wings I had about to expire so I just tossed them in. Wings were fantastic, left them on for about an hour and a half; the ribs for 3.5. Both were great. Chips burnt up though, but I've been reading fixes for that on here. Look forward to learning more!
