Hey everyone, glad to be here.
I've been smoking for over 8 years on a Char-Griller offset wood smoker. Originally from Ft. Lauderdale and I've been in Skokie for a while now and I've been wanting to smoke more year-round and the offset smokers are a bit rough to keep a consistent temp during the winter. So I just purchased a Smoke Hollow 44241G2 44-Inch Vertical LP Gas Smoker to supplement my Char-Griller during the winter. And you can never go wrong with another smoker.
I only smoke Beef, Chicken, Turkey, Salmon & Veggies at home because my family doesn't eat pork or shellfish. I need to go out of the house for my pork & shellfish fix. I look forward to the gas smoker so I experiment a little bit more. All suggestions are welcome.
