Back hear they race cars with old camping trailers behind them no hitches just chained to the bumper. Makes it real hard to pass.

I can appreciate that. In 1977 I drug a sawmill on a tandem duals, (2 axles, 4 tires per axle) trailer with no brakes, home from Helena MT, for my friend, my truck was a tandem axle dual wheel also. About 50 miles from home, the pin dropped out of the tounge, the safety chain gave enough slack that it became a situation of, "the tail wagging the dog". About the time I thought I thought I would roll the tractor, the safety chain broke and send the mill into a swamp. One HD-9, my truck, and three four wheel drive pickups later, the mill was back on the hiway, hooked back up to my truck, and we made it home. I really can't remember, but I think we drank heavily that nite.
lol i know that story only mine was a full sized trailer house frame loaded w/ totem poles down a logging road from north of snowbowl behind a 4cyl jeep nose into the snowbank in a whiteout....fun fun & loads of liquor & fresh shorts afterward...
Almost as good around here Winston Speedway has "Train Races". Demo Derby cars with 3 cars chained tightly together, a driver in the front car & the back car. The middle car empty. What a hoot to watch
That video reminds me of a TV show I saw about 35 some years ago, it was someone who jumped a school bus over about 20-30 motorcycles. He came in just shy of the landing ramp and sheared off the axles as he landed. It was great!!
