new smoker!

hello everyone, i just joined after learning about this website 2 weeks ago. i wanted to learn about smoking since my wife got me a new brinkman electric smoker for christmas! i have been reading alot and learning alot from everyone here and wanted to become a regular here on smokingmeatforums. i'm 56 years old and live in south georgia. smoking meat has recently caught my eye and interest and want to become more informed about this art of smoking. i'm really looking forward to this experience and this seems to be the best place to start my journey!

thanks for the warm welcome everyone. cant wait to get the smoker put together, do a few mods that i have read about, and start smoking! wife says i have to wait till christmas first. guess what i'll be doing this weekend?
