A friend and I are getting into the catering business, this is our first major purchase, the guy who owned it previously used it for catering and it turns out pretty good cue, looking forward to our first big smoke. We rubbed it down today with some scotch brite pads, and scraped a bunch of the grease out of it, I think when it's all said and done she'll look pretty darn good! Also planning on a couple coats of heat resistant black paint, let me know what you think!
there she is, in all her rusted glory!
angle shot
side profile
other angle
good shot of the smoke box.
damper door
open smoke box
shot of the vent from smoke box
open view of the grates
without the grate, built in liquid pan underneath the grate (it slides back and forth)
from the other side
after the scotch brite treatment
thanks for looking, more to come as we get more done!
