New Smoker in Boston

Hi Folks. My name is Jon and live just outside of Boston. I just got the Weber Smokey Mountain and am excited to get started. I heard that cold weather climates are not ideal for the starter but I am open to suggestions with it. After seasoning the smoker, I will look to get right to it starting with something easy obviously. After looking at this forum for some time now, everyone seems very helpful which I'm sure I will need. With that, thank you in advance. Happy New Year

Welcome! Pork butt is nice and easy.....very forgiving if you have any trouble controlling temps. Enjoy!

I always tell folks that for a first smoke chicken is a good meat to try.

It's easy & cheap.

You can't go wrong with leg quarters.
