New smoker build

2 Barrels welded together. (1/3 barrel cut off lower)
Doors cut out.
Weed torch used to clean it up.
Rods bent with a vice and weed torch for hinges.
4"x4" hold cut to allow smoke into top barrel. (using a cast iron frying pan inside as a flew/water holder over the cut out greatly increased the heat controls better than a outside vent does)
First burn at 550 deg to clean it again. (I will use high temp weld and RTV sealant on the doors!)
Finished smoker held at 225 for hours with wood. (I will use charcoal for better control)
High temp paint is coming next.
