Hello everyone. I have been prowling around on this forum for a few days now. Now it's time for me to come out of the shadows and ask some questions. I grew up here in the south and am no stranger to eating good Q but I am very new at cooking it. I built my first smoker earlier this month using a Weber Smokey Joe grill and a 32qt steamer pot. It does a great job and is perfect for cooking Q for the family. I have only done 3 cooks on it so far a picnic roast, 2 loin ribs, and a Boston butt. All of it came out very tasty and can't wait to see how I improve as I gain knowledge and experience.

Here is a picture of my built smoker, the mini wsm

Cody, morning and welcome to the forum...  Nice smoker... folks that build those like them and they cook well......

If you would note your location in your profile, it will help in the future when answering questions about smokin'...   elevation, humidity etc....

We're glad you stopped in and joined our group...    Enjoy the long smokey ride....     Dave
