Hey guys, new to posting in the forum.

Using a 24" Smoke Vault smoker in Philly.

Just made a post in the propane section in a smoke vault thread for help with my smoker..

I'm getting a good amount of smoke and good flow but no smoke flavor! its almost as if i am just using an oven...

I have a SV24 & get plenty of smoke flavor.

What are you using for wood?

Using kingsford hickory wood chunks.. i use the water pan as well.
Meat comes out great. Juicy and tender.
Usually put two wood chunks in, last about 45 mins and then i rotate them over.. im getting good amount of smoke. Maybe too much.. smoke smells great.
Cant tell if im burning the wood too hott or there is something else but when im chompin down on the meat i dont really taste the smoke flavor much...
