It doesn't state the thickness of the metal. I would think that 1/4" thick would work best.
It's only a tenth of an inch...not enough meat to it.  Check with a machine shop close by, tell them what you're looking for, and see if you can buy some quarter inch scrap--you don't need to pay a premium for stainless, especially for this.
