Hey guys New member here, name is Bayla! Im 33 and I'm smoking my first ever brisket! It was a 20lb brisket and I cut into 2 and been smoking it since 7pm last night.

After almost 18 hours of smoking, its my first time smoking anything
Its going good, the sides are like butter when I stick the probe in it but the top is still a lil toughAmbitious!!!
Can't wait to see/hear about the results!

Not eating it tonight, letting rest tonightYou eating it tonight? If so hope you built you in some rest time for the brisket. What's the IT? I rest mine 2-4 hours wrapped in foil covered in towels in a cooler before slicing
Not sure, kinda eyeballing it cuz my meat thermometer broke so I slide a BBQ fork into and its like slicing butterLooks real good. I'd assume almost done? What's the IT?
