Been grillin in Tn for 40 yrs or so, but just now getting into the "Smoke" part of it.
Won a Masterbuilt Portable Propane Smoker from my radio station and am really hooked on the low & slow!
Just the dog and I so keeping it small works for me. And portable not necessary at my age, will retrofit to electric and may try some "Cold Smoke" this winter.

Welcome to the site and congratulation on the win. You may want to invest in a vacuum sealer when you start some of the larger cuts of meat.
