Hello, my name is Lenny (aka. Moipaman), I'm from New Orleans but live just south of Baton Rouge.

My main interest are photography (mostly nature) and cooking (bbq, asian and cajun).

I've cooked, as an assistant, in a few bbq competitions. I've just recently upgraded to and Oklahoma Joe smoker. I love indirect heat cooking.

As for my photography I can be found on FB (for now) under "Naturally Lousiana".

Thanks

Welcome Lenny, You'll be surprised how many coonass are here. Galvez always nice country, especial past the "Y" towards Port Vincent.

Just a suggestion, up above on the task bar you'll see an icon for "Profile" use it and spend a moment enlightening folks about yourself and where you sleep at night. If ya don't you'll get inundated with folks asking. Again, just a suggestion.

Nice meeting you and look forward to your threads as well as the pictures.

Welcome aboard Lenny!  This is the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks who really enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input here, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.
